I am not interested in hearing about Active Ride on Panamera. From the very get-go at the Taycan .II launch, it was noted that Active Ride on the Taycan was further refined, and in particular the lateral leaning and fore/back “helicoptering” toned down from that in Panamera, as reviewers and test drivers found it overdone and unpleasant on Panamera.

I want to hear about Active Ride on the only Porsche vehicle I’m interested in purchasing at this time, Taycan.

We don’t need more videos explaining how it works, that has already been covered. What they never cover is how WELL does it work on actual bad roads.

My point of recommendation wast not related to speed or power or both. TheTurbo spec as standard is higher and therefore residuals are likely to be higher than a car with a lower base price and over optioned. Also scores higher on the desirability scale too. That was my point / logic.

The base RWD has more power available than most mortals realistically can use and is instantaneously available on tap.

The build sheet says the launch vehicle was ordered in January, before the announcement that Active Ride was even offered. That vehicle not arriving in US until June, so it may be a long time until any Taycan so equipped will be available for inspection since the first wave appears to all be identically spec’ed within each trim level.

When I placed my order at the end of April (July delivery), they told me that Active Ride was not an option because they were having issues with it.

Here is an inventory Turbo with Active Ride at the Porsche Berlin dealership.
https://finder.porsche.com/de/de-DE/details/6D3P2X
Another Turbo:
https://finder.porsche.com/de/de-DE...Z?condition=new&model=taycan&order=price_desc
And another Turbo:
https://finder.porsche.com/de/de-DE...Z?condition=new&model=taycan&order=price_desc
And a 4S ST:
https://finder.porsche.com/de/de-DE...turismo-neu-7L8L04?condition=new&model=taycan
And a Turbo S:
https://finder.porsche.com/de/de-DE...9?condition=new&model=taycan&order=price_desc

So Porsche has delivered some cars. But there is a problem of limited availability, as reported previously on this board and visible in the german configurator. Supply or technical, who knows ?

I tend to give limited credit to what dealer personnel say.
Some are well informed, but many will say whatever is convenient on that day.

Yea, really who knows why. I just know he told me the system wasn't letting him place the order with Active Ride.
