Installed Custom ski box without roof rails

Just installed my custom ski box with Sea sucker rails. My CT didn't come with Roof rails so went the suction cup route. Seems to be working great

Can you post some closer pics of the rails?
I use suction cups for a fly rod rack that works really well but total weight fully loaded is less than 5lbs.
I concur with @Jasper4S, that winter set does look good

I concur with @Jasper4S, that winter set does look good

I did modify the front bracket to lower it down compared to what sea suckers original brackets were like, as I found the front was a little too high when I first installed it.

That's nuts. It's crazy how secure the cups are...
Same design on fly rod racks, super solid. Just have to make sure the surface is clean and the pano roof is the perfect surface. Plus, when you don't need the rack they all pop off in 1min.

@Sharksailer , does your car have the variable light control? I am curious if the seasucker is ok with that. I've used the system multiple times on regular sunroofs and they are awesome. I contacted seasucker to ask if they had any experience with variable light control sunroofs and they didn't know.

My car does not have the variable light control sunroof. That said I don't feel as though it will make any difference for the sea suckers as you just need a very flat surface to allow the sea suckers to attach. I've seen sea suckers on aluminum roofs, Steel roofs as well as glass roofs. So I can't see why they would not work on the variable light glass roof?

Not sure I'd be brave enough on a Porsche glass roof!

(Best Taycan colour BTW - in this colour not only do they look the best, but they're faster and have better range ).
