If a Ionity Charger is faulty and can not deliver a certain charging speed the sessions won´t be charged. That seems to be the case in Gnashers 1st charging attempt.

Initially when they were bringing new Ionity stations into operation they were set on free vend - some for quite a long while.

MK Coach station. Had a IONITY employee there who told me the first charger is temperamental.

Had a couple of people come round my car to look at it and the speed it was charging.. It slowed down at 70% but 35% to 72% in 11 mins is pretty good!

Charged at the IONITY Cobham yesterday and it was mayhem… cars were queuing up to top up as the chargers were barely making 60kw.

I’ve no idea if i was charged for the 35 min charge as the invoicing on my porsche seems to not have updated since 1st August.

With the end of the holidays in France, Germany, Netherlands and UK, Ionity chargers were in very high demand on Friday and Saturday. Experienced some 10 to 15 minutes waiting time, but still great charging rates, even when all stalls were occupied.

Here is one stop in Helsingborg with 4 cars waiting in line, but good charging rate! Guess it very much depends on Grid connection and battery back up at each place
