J1.2 fragility (vs J.1)?

Thinking of upgrading my Sport Turismo MY22 to a used MY25 if that would give better reliability and software quality. I’m fed up with issues, ranging from yellow electrical system warnings (fixed by replacing 22kW charger but back a year later) to dumb behaviours of the charging timer. We had alarms sounding forever, charging failures, 12v battery dead after days, requirement for battery monitoring ... all things others have seen in this forum.

What’s the probability that the J1.2 refresh has cleared out most of these issues (and not added too many new ones)? Or is it too early to tell? Or should I wait for (used) MY26?

I think that there are grounds for optimism as many critical subsystems have been completely redesigned in the areas that were deficient in J1.1: HV/charging stack, HVAC module, battery chemistry.

But it also still seems too early to tell.

The only J1.2 issues clusters i have seen reported on this august forum are PCM/Porsche Connect issues.

Just responded to the reliability thread, but as in there the only problem I've had (also had it nearly a year) was an air suspension fault that they sorted super quickly. Charging/electrics/PCM - no problems at all.

So far I’m not as optimistic. I have had a 25 loaner for the past two months and so far the second time I get in it it had the yellow electrical fault. To the cars defense it hasn’t come back yet. I will say the software is way glcithier then my gen 1.1. It’s constantly kicking me out of car play or the system just shuts down.
