Juicebox settings

Hi all,

setting up my Juicebox in anticipation of delivery tomorrow, and there are no preset settings for the base Taycan, only 4s and Turbo. I tried to adjust them the best I could find, but not confident as I read different values depending on the site. Couldn’t find anything here so apologies if been covered. Could anyone verify I am correct or correct me?

The variant of Taycan you have is not so relevant and is more to do with the battery you have - Performance Battery or Performance Battery Plus.

It may be market dependent but the base Taycan saloon and 4S saloon (for example) have the Performance Battery as standard and so if you've not upgraded that then you will have the smaller of the 2 batteries. All other variants have the Performance Battery Plus.

Next consideration is whether you enter the gross or net battery capacity.

PB+ gross 93.4, net 83.7, usable SOC 90%
PB gross 79.2, net 71, usable SOC 90%

Logically select the 4S if you have the PB and the Turbo if you have PB+.
Typically you don't need any of these settings and just let the car control the chsrging session with a profile and timer as needed.

I have no experience of the Juice box but to be honest I don't see the need to worry unduly what these settings are. You wouldn't take any of these parameters into consideration if public AC charging.
