Looks like I have debugged the charging issues on my new Taycan to be with anything, but Level 3 charging.

Has anyone else had issues with Level 1 and 2 charging on the new Taycans? If so, what fixes it. I have a service appointment in two weeks, but I’m hoping there might be something I can do before then.

L1/2 is AC and L3 is DC and bypasss the on-board charger. It’s entirely possible to have the situation you’re describing. Your on-board charger is likely faulty and will need to be replaced.

Similar problem happened to me. AC charging just stopped after about 5 minutes of charging, but DC charging worked fine. For me they replaced a faulty “MVW2” valve. No problems with AC charging since.

The on-board charger is involved in L3 signaling. I suppose describing it as "bypassing" is not 100% accurate. The DC current bypasses and goes directly to the battery.
