Longer PMC type 2 charging cable

Does anyone know where I could purchase the longer version (7m) of a type 2 charging cable for the Porsche mobile connect ? I only got the 2,5m and not finding anything online.

Next step would be a trip to the dealer but usually have faster & better answer from the forum

Porsche Tequipment in your country may list and if not then your dealer.

Non Porsche Extension cable is an option too.

Odd you have 2.5m as the default is 4.5m and 7.5m is optional.

I believe it’s the PMC+ that has the 4.5m cable while the PMCC has 2.5/7.5m options.

It used to be listed for sure but has been removed along with many other items.

Has helped in a pinch when a destination charger was blocked at a hotel.

I had the same dilemma and based on advice in another thread here, got a JLong J1772 extension cable instead. That allows me to extend the reach of my PWCC, PMC+ and also any other level 2 charger.

Beware of cheaply made options, look for UL certified or equivalent in your locale.

You have to be careful about the Amperage rating of the cable and make any necessary power limiting adjustments on the EVSE so as not to overcook it.
