Is it bad to frequently park in lift mode?

I activate lift mode when pulling into my driveway, which means it’s always in lift mode when parked.

I was watching a Doug Demuro video where he mentioned with hydraulic spoilers leaving them in lifted mode can lead to faster failure. So, I was wondering if anyone had insight on this being an issue with the axle lift system in the Taycan.

He is in my top 3 most annoying people on YT. Generally, if you leave it lifted air cushions will be on higher pressure level theoretically lowering their life span. Which is a big mehhh since every pothole increases it too and they are calculated exactly for this.

Just out of curiosity, why don't you lower it back down once it's parked? I lift mine entering the driveway and immediately lower it back down. I can't stand looking at the car in lift mode inside the garage.

I always lift on entry to my drive. I see mine drop significantly about 10 seconds after locking it. Maybe it’s trying to self level a bit, as it’s parked on a very very slight incline, but it definitely drops with a hissing sound.
So maybe it releases excess pressure anyway and rise back up on startup.

Yeah I might start doing this- I’ve only had the car a month so still getting used to things!

Honestly I probably don’t even need the lift for my driveway so I may just remove the location altogether. The CT rides higher than I expected/feared at baseline

Don’t worry…
I have been owning Panamera and Taycan since 2014, all with air suspension.
I have been lifting the suspension since day one as my driveway requires it. Sometimes I let the car sat for weeks with the suspension raised.
Never had a single suspension issue. More than that, exercising all suspension heights may avoid the air cushion to dry, crack and ultimately to leak.

Does it indicate that it is still in raised mode the next morning when you start her up? Do you notice it raising if it is?

Yes it’s still raised the next morning and the blue icon is on. Sometimes the compressor kicks off when switching the ignition on but mostly for tilt adjustment.
