Mirror dipping in reverse

i when engaging into reverse the passenger mirror should dip to show the curb. Mine turns up and shows the sky! I have disabled the feature until I can get it to service. anyone else seen this?

It is fairly common to have it point skyward from the factory. Here are the instructions from the owner's manual to set it to dip downward in reverse.

This totally worked for me. I note, however, that it was surprising (to me, at least) that it only down swivels the passenger mirror. I have had other vehicles that down swiveled both.

You simply need to put the car in reverse and then set it where you want it when in reverse. It will remember this. Apparently it remembers both a "normal" setting and a "reverse" setting.
