Mirror Tap or Fuse Box for Radar Detector + Dash Cam?

I'm planning on installing the Escort MAX 360 MKII Radar and Laser Detector & Escort M2 Smart Dash Cam Bundle in my Taycan GTS (with insulated glass). So I'm assuming this would draw more power than a regular dash cam or radar detector alone. I'm not sure how much power I can draw from the mirror tap before the car throws some kind of voltage warning.

Since I am planning on attaching it to the dotted windshield area, it's less wire to route behind the mirror. But I am kind of daunted by the idea of prying open the plastic cover behind the mirror.

What would be the best option Mirror Tap or Fuse Box?

My radar detector is mounted on the mirror stalk and is wired into the fuse box.
