My car has been built with pictures

Got an e-mail from Porsche that my car has been completed and is on the way to the German port. On the my porsche page was an ‘Insights from production’ link that included assembly line pictures of my CT4. Delivery date to the dealer is scheduled for Nov 23. Can’t wait!

I went to the factory to watch them being built a few months ago. I would highly recommend making the trip one day. They take you right up to the cars as they are being made.

Super thoughtful build. For example, I also went with lower trim in gloss black for mirrors, most miss that touch, that to me makes a big difference when looking out from the front seats. Other bits are all right on to the way I would spec a CT.

Wish I could say I was that smart, but Dave04porsche recommended it when he checked my initial build months ago. I said it before but the amount of knowledge on these forums is worth it’s weight in gold!

also the compass!!! I really wish that were an option on the GTS. I am sure it’s a PITA to retrofit.

We were just talking on another thread about Compass and you an easily enable it in the right tube as a digital version or an information line part of the Customized View. I realize this is not the real on the dash version but it is better than having none at all.

E-mail this afternoon that the car was loaded and ship departed with a scheduled US arrival of Nov 21st. Seriously getting excited!

I am really pleased for you. The pictures look great. I ordered my CT4 around a year ago and it is now being built, so I can understand your excitement. I hope you get it soon. My car is due to be finished on 17th Nov, so I hope to get it in Dec. I really hope I get the production pictures. That is such a nice touch. I can't think of any other manufacturer that offers this, although, I may be wrong.
