Thinking of getting turbonit style on the outside of my dolomite-silver CT.
But hesitating to bring it out of the original status.

Turbonit on some colour-schemes is just foiiiiin.

Are you worried it will void the warranty, lose resale value, other reason?

You can always keep the original badge, which can be swapped back any time in just a few minutes, should you want to restore it to "original status". When I customize my cars, I try to use OEM parts where possible, and I usually keep the original parts and try to do installs in such a way as they can be undone without leaving a trace (so no drilling extra holes, cutting, etc). However, I found that when I go to sell the car, either the buyer likes the modifications, or they don't care, or in one case they just wanted the original parts on the side.

I know this is an old thread, but I stumbled upon it. It's beautiful! I'm a Star Wars fan. You need a picture with a light saber.

Sorta related, I was lucky enough to experience the Halcyon Galactic Starcruiser (aka the Star Wars Hotel) before it shut down. (I still mourn that.) I can only imagine how perfect it would have been if you pulled up to the Earth Spaceport to board.

Do you know how they prepped them ?
Original texture looks quite rough.

Not 100% but will check and get back to you. I’ve had many cars/SUV’s done by them and always a smooth finish on the textured areas.
