Dear Customer,
PCNA is aware of new delays in shipping completed vehicles currently awaiting loading in Port of Emden. The delays are due to shipping vessel availability disruptions and labor shortages at the Port of Emden that are largely outside of Porsche’s control. This is a very dynamic situation, and PCNA is working diligently with the VW Group to help minimize car shipment delays.Due to a supplier issue outside of our control, we are currently experiencing a shortage of 12V auxiliary batteries designed specifically for the Taycan. As a result of this situation, certain completed Taycan vehicles, are currently being held at the factory until the 12V auxiliary battery can be installed. We are working diligently to address this issue, and regret that your anticipated vehicle delivery date is being delayed. As always, we ask that you stay in close contact with your Porsche dealer for updates on this dynamic situation.
I wonder if this battery issue corresponds to the giant jump in dates some people are seeing.
