I had a small clock symbol flash up on the left had main screen just under the speed limit sign. Never seen it before or since but wondered what it meant. Can’t find it listed anywhere.
Isn't that the cruise control display?
I prefer normal cruise so that is what I specced. If I engage cruise control I get a little dial which goes green or grey if active or not when cruise is enabled on the button on the end of the stalk.
There is presumably a more complex display for adaptive or innodrive.
I can confirm that sign means a temporary speed limit only active during certain time periods. If the clock is displayed, it means it is during that time period.
In the Netherlands, all motorways are restricted to 100 km/h between 0600 and 1900.
Why you would be seeing it on a UK B-road, however, is beyond me.
Driving these motorways every day, but never seen this. Only the 100km/h sign, with 3 little ’dots’ underneath. These dots disappear when driving on motorways with permanent speed limits.
I think I can confirm @Throb's findings about time-specific speed limits. I believe I've seen the clock icon you describe when driving near schools that have reduced speed on days when school is in session.
Yep, get it most days. I’m just up the road from a primary (or junior as they call it down south) school. Normally a 30, but 20 during school start/ kicking out time.
