It’s a lot of money, you really should be sure you’re in love with the car. You should wait for MY 2023. Now drop the allocation and let us know which dealer it’s with ?
FWIW, the dealer is giving MSRP with small credit for accessories, seems like that is the norm these days :) I am justifying the purchase by claiming I get better resale on my older car :)

Generally Porsche leases are really awful (in the US, ymmv). The apr is stupid and the terms are disadvantageous. If it were any of the older product lines I would say never ever lease a Porsche. Grab a 1% loan from PenFed or similar option. The money you save is basically your insurance against depreciation

But v1.0 of a BEV and brand new platform … that’s a more nuanced choice. Porsche leases allow some small flexibility for early return if you trade in for another Porsche and some to extend the lease later as well. The guaranteed depreciation (quite steep about 40% last I checked) could be considered a form of insurance.

Still not sure it’s worth the lease vs just selling at 40% depreciation. I’ll need to run more numbers as delivery gets closer …

My plug and charge doesn’t work (Porsche blame IONITY, IONITY blame Porsche), I’ve had a seat base replaced due creaking and the rear camera is a work of head-splitting inanity. Had I known about any or all of those things beforehand it wouldn’t have changed my view and I’d still have gone ahead. If you do wait, who’s to say you won’t have another litany of ”what ifs” available to ponder then? Go for it, I say, and enjoy!

I’m also having some doubts about placing order right know. I have my spec ready and my ♥ says go for it but I’m worried that with the new EV Macan we will also see solid update for Taycan, especially in range and charging. Just keep in mind that Porsche is really new in EV world.
Second issue… I just saw 20 new Macans at my dealer parking lot and they came from factory misssing parts…. they’re are waiting for factory sending them necessary equipment to prepare vehicles for clients. I don’t know if I would have vehicle completed by my dealer ?

Second issue… I just saw 20 new Macans at my dealer parking lot and they came from factory misssing parts…. they’re are waiting for factory sending them necessary equipment to prepare vehicles for clients. I don’t know if I would have vehicle completed by my dealer ?
My 4S has just arrived in USA port. Per dealer, Porsche dealer system shows it has no "open campaigns", known warranty/service matters. Same thing reported from other owners in December delivery threads. Not sure missing parts for recent Taycan deliveries is a thing any longer.

I’ve had my 2021 4s exactly a year and 7200 miles in I’ve had zero issues. Two software updates are my only dealer visits and noticed no difference in the car before or after. It’s been amazing. I actually have a 2022 PTS turbo S incoming.

The best advice a person will ever get is from strangers on the internet. Especially from the 12 year olds.
GTS Turismo ordered, had my CT4S 6 weeks, been offered £20k overs from 2 buyers….you won’t get that offer on a MY23.. also age 56….nuff said, get it ordered!!
