Just get exactly what you want. You will only regret not getting things. Never having them. Except maybe the electric charge door if it failsInteresting point(s) @McgR and @bsclywilly. I've had one new car in my life, my 981 Cayman S (two for my wife). When I ordered the Cayman I was very careful to keep it under budget and avoided (almost) every luxury item and included (mostly) only performance items like sports suspension and seats and I never regretted it. I just tried that philosophy with the Taycan build and easily trimmed over $7k off the bottom line. There's another $5-7k that could be trimmed but a combination of FOMO and the devil on my right shoulder whispering that I *should* have sports chrono, ACC, night vision and insulated glass won't let me (yet).
