Order to delivery, how long it takes?

I don't think information about any of our order/build/delivery times is very useful at present, given the challenges Porsche and the wider global manufacturing sector have faced over the last couple years. Hopefully there is a trend towards improvement.
That said, we test drove mid-April 2022. Placed a demand order a week later. Didn't get an allocation until mid-August. Configuration didn't lock until January 3, 2023.
Who knows when it will finally show up? TYD says mid-March, but given our experience to date...I suspect it will be closer to May.
When we had the demand order placed, the salesperson said delivery in "September/October". I told him I doubted we'd see it in less than a year.
