Trying to order the car without the two-tone seats, but dealer keeps telling me it’s not possible. Porsche/Exclusive/CXX/Sonderwunsch says anything is possible, so a simple seat colour change shouldn’t be an issue.

What's the problem? Is that chalk? The 2-tone is the option that costs extra.

You got that right, I do not like the refresh styling of the two tone interiors with more black than the lighter tone. They have gradually moved into that direction and I do not like it. We used to be able to order entire interior in light color (100 Luxor Beige) and loved it, until the glare lawsuit came down. I am not sure how much further they will go to eliminate any light colors from the interior as I feel they are at the max now across the latest model lineup that includes Cayenne and Macan EV.

Wasn’t a fan at first but saw more pictures and videos and it grew on me. I got the black with chalk but really wanted all chalk or something all light. Nope. 18 way seats at least to me look better with the two tone.

Which is what I’m trying to do, but they keep giving me the runaround

Slate Grey? Not Chalk light but not dark and no two-tone. With sales tanking you would think they would accommodate a pretty normal request. Not sure the two-tone is going over well.

You have three options:

1. Ask your dealer to apply for CXX or Sonderwunsch. Be prepared, you will probably be declined because those programs are for ‘real’ custom options. Think outside the box, colors you’ve seen at other luxury brand, materials that aren’t standard etc. And have a story prepared. Sonderwunsch is about creating a piece of art, not to remove the two tone option. Remember you are buying a mass production vehicle, no exotic supercar.

2. Go third party, after delivery get your seats redone

3. Buy something else as in walk away or choose another color option
