Overboost and Launch Control on CT4

In case anyone is tracking this thread, had best launch yet this morning. It was almost bordering on dramatic. Battery at 84% SoC and battery temp at 77* after driving in sport+ for a few minutes prior. The overboost kicked in way earlier, around 15mph and carried through to around 50mph. I’m speculating that high charge % and warmer battery is key, otherwise the launch doesn’t feel any quicker than flooring the car.

I'm coming from a Tesla, so there was no launch control. But we do have it in our X4 M40i and yeah I guess the sound from the engine does help! Will def try tonight after work

There was launch control on our X5 Diesel. Tried it once and did not understand the point of it. I bet the M40i gasser launch is pretty fun.
