Porsche Dynamic Light System Plus FOD

Hello!

Im new to the forum and Im about to buy a used Taycan RWD here in Sweden.
This car only has the standard lights and not the PDLS+.

Is this feature available to buy in the Porsche connect store?

I can see it both in the US and the German store webpage:

When the press relase came for the RWD here in Sweden it just said that these functions were avalible:

Porsche Intelligent Range Manager (PIRM), Power Steering Plus, Active Lane Keeping Assist och Porsche InnoDrive

So maybe this is something new for MY22? But with the semi conductor shortage, it would be weird to add this feature for MY22.

Or maybe its not available in Sweden?

May not be available as FOD as there could be a hardware dependency which may / may not be factory fitted.

Innodrive is another which is FOD providing you have ACC (Adaptive Cruise Control) factory fitted as it add the necessary hardware.

You may find that most if not all FOD options are enabled in any case. This will be country dependent but in UK I had no FOD options to add after delivery as I had optioned power steering plus and didn't have ACC to enable an FOD trial of Innodrive, PIRM is standard. ALK (Active Lane Keep) requires ACC (I think).

Suggest to check the standard specification on the configurator to see what you'll get out of the box and watch out for factory fitted hardware dependencies.

BTW Power Steering Plus is a must have option.

I think it should be available. It certainly is on the Porsche.se website

If I remember correctly this is like automatically switching between full beam and normal beam with some added feature. Do not mix this with the active Matrix LED lights features.

I paid online and it downloaded pretty much instantly. Didn’t originally need any upgraded lights as never normally drive the car at night but change of child’s rugby club means I now do once a week, so thought I would try it. Went for subscription as it was 3 months free and £30 month and can be cancelled at anytime, which I will do when I don’t need it over the summer, works fine.
