What causes the most range loss is how much energy goes into warming up the car (chiefly battery and interior) each time it starts. Cold starts and short trips eat a lot of range. As I wrote in another thread (https://www.taycanforum.com/forum/threads/only-getting-around-130-miles-range.14894/post-225401), this can be observed in the Trip data that can be displayed in the righthand "tube" of the instrument cluster.I can't get anywhere near to some of these figures in my RWD Taycan, 21" rims, PB+. The most I've ever seen is 320km (199 miles). I'm well aware of all the caveats, but at 8,500 km, I would have expected better range by now. In fact, the best range I ever achieved from the car was in the first week of picking it up, at 337km. And that was charging it up with 3% battery left.
Driving style also matters, but not so much for short trips.
Edit. To me, the range prediction would have been more useful if it included the average consumption it calculates with. E.g. "305 km @ 24,4 kWh/100 km". (Or even better "305 km @ 244 Wh/km".) Replace with miles etc for those of you prefering that.
