If anyone is interested in a trade or has the standard logo tail light for sale, I'm interested. I have the black logo.
I have the original white logo for sale.
It's literally above your post. ?

So on my 2022 Taycan GTS, the Porsche lettering in the rear is black. So it’s completely impossible to even read or make out. And since the black “Taycan GTS” lettering against my Carrera White Metallic paint shows so clearly, it really looks weird that the actual Porsche name cannot be seen.

Ideally, would love to have it illuminated, but that doesn’t seem to be an option. So in my mind, the next best is to have it in original clear. Is there any way to get that? I know Glacier Blue lettering is available thru SunCoast, but not too interested in that. I’m unable to find OEM clear lettering, so would appreciate any leads from folks. And also advice on my dilemma and what you all think?
Ironic that this was a paid for option on non-GTS variants - personally I prefer it. Glacier blue is odd (as are the blue headlight trims) and so regular or black is fine. GTS also comes with black matrix headlights so it is a design thing for GTS models.

J1.2 now has the illuminated option (in red) and looks gash IMHO. Potentially this may become available for J1.1 cars in the future.

Porsche marketing knows how to extract money from customers. In the US, the different colored logo for J1.1 was the same price as buying the whole set of tail lights as parts, so technically, if you swap the lights out yourself (which is easy, especially on CT/ST - 7 screws, 4 connectors total) you could buy the standard tail lights, then buy the ones in the color you want, for the same money.

As for what looks good, well, that is 100% personal. I happen to agree with you about the illuminated tail logo, but there are people who love it and pay extra to get it. Taycans have myriads of options combinations because there is are myriads of different tastes. There are options I can't see myself ever wanting (like neodyme accents for example, I'd pay to remove them) which obviously people like, or else it would not be an option. Then there are things which people like in certain combinations (for example I dislike red brake calipers on my cars, unless the car is blue).
