Noticed this on my GTS with drive mode set to sport plus. Slowing down for a corner, the sport sound makes what sounds like a blip rev-match when downshifting.
Does this actually indicate a downshift or is that just simulated “for effect” for a bit of fun?
Also, I never noticed this simulated blip downshift on previous 4S test drives, and I’ve gone on several spirited ones. I‘ve noticed a downshift on those test drives, but never that distinct rev-match blip sound I’ve been experiencing on my car. Specific to the GTS? Or perhaps it just wasn’t as noticeable in the 4S I’ve driven since the GTS’ sports sound is louder and unique to the model. Not a complaint - I actually really like it!
