Rock Chips on Unpainted Mission E's?

I have one week until my order locks. Last undecided option is whether to get Mission E wheels. I have the stock, unpainted Mission E's on my order now? Is the rock chipping issue only associated with the painted Mission E's? Many thanks.

I think you’ll find that even the ”unpainted” E’s are painted silver around the rim, and glossy black everywhere else.

They will get a few chips over time. Mine have a few but not even bad enough for me to try and touch up yet.

An expensive solution but a good way to make peace: buy a backup set you never install. Suncoast sells them.
