Perhaps it is simply not so fast that it is necessary. However, I followed the instructions for a 4S Launch Control on my RWD. Nothing came up on the display to say Launch Control was initiated. Am I doing something wrong? Basically, put into Sport mode, foot on brake, other foot on accelerator, release break. Yes, it goes, but nothing on the display like a 4S saying Launch Control activated. Any thoughts?

this would seem to confirm there’s launch control on the RWD

Ensure you’re in Sport or Sport Plus mode. Left foot on break, then right foot on the accelerator, wait for the beep, release break.

Hi, I have a RWD a with no crono pack and yes launch control does work.

All I do is press the Sport button, foot on break, floor the throttle, dash then shows Launch Control Activated on the dash. Release brake and off it goes.

Do you remember what your SoC was? I think below a certain level, it won’t initiate. Maybe it’s 30%? Not exactly sure but at some point, it won’t do it (I think).

I had same issue and figured out the problem; if you warm the car up first ie drive it for a while ; then you should be able to initiate launch control ; although tbf it is not much quicker than just flooring it normally ...
