Sat nav current location - help!

I can‘t find this anywhere but also can’t believe it would not be an available function… is there any way to add the current location of the car as a favourite or as my home address? I could just add the post code, which comes close, but sometimes search areas are a bit off and if it is a location that I visit frequently it is better to add it exactly when the car is there. My old Macan had this function but I can’t find any way to do it with the Taycan. It isn’t in GTK app and I have spent ages looking in menus, but just can’t see it. Thanks

You can add as a favourite in the app (I use it to auto select my profile for charging depending on where I am). This should then appear on your favourites on the PCM NAV - I'd need to check to be sure but it should work.

There will be another way to do this within Nav - touch and hold on the map where your location is currently displayed perhaps - I'll have a fiddle and see what the options are.

Thanks. I did see something in the app and have sent my home destination to the car. I haven’t been in the car again to see what it has done. I tried everything I could think of including any sub menus, tapping various bits, tapping and holding. Nothing worked. If you can find an answer I would very much like to hear it!

So try holding your finger down on the Nav map for a moment when at your chosen location - menu will pop up which you can then add as a destination and add to favourites etc. and name as 'Home'.

You can also enter precise geo coordinates and save these as your chosen location.

Thanks. I will try it. I think I saw something about adding destination and assumed that related to wherever the satnav was going rather than my current location. Maybe it has lost something in translation from the German!

Still struggling to do this. Maybe the functionality got lost in the latest update. And how on earth do you change the name of a favourite so that it means something rather than an address or post code? I couldn't seem to do that either. I must be on a different wavelength to the people who wrote this bit of software

Whilst I can now add locations, the geek at the Porsche centre has told me that renaming favourite locations seems not to be possible on the Taycan. Unbelievable! Has anyone worked out a way to do this?
