Software Update Done

MY 2021 Taycan 4S had the software update last week. I collected the car on Wednesday from Porsche Centre Dublin and drove back to Galway, circa 216km. The new android software is good and a big improvement to the car. I understood that the range would increase by circa 30-50Km depending on driving style so I was a bit surprised to find a range of only 320Km at 85% charge on Thursday morning after overnight home charging. My car has done circa 10,500km and typically an 85% charge would give me an indicated range of between 360-380KM which is significantly more than the 320km indicated this week. I would be interested to hear from other owners who have had the software update and their experience, i.e.. has the range improvement materialised and was there any short term reduction following the update?

I had the software update done by Dublin about six weeks ago and have 48600km on my 4S with performance battery plus.

I charged to 100% overnight last night and had a 427 km range this morning when leaving.

I got the update done at the same time on my CT4S, 9000km on it. I in fact am finding the range is shorter. Used to get 340km at 100% charge, now it is 320. Does not make any sense

Several of us have commented on this if you search. Range loss in my case was significant and now slowly returning but no increase as promised.

Car is in for its 2 year service tomorrow and I've asked them to check the battery as either this is dodgy software or something like degradation is impacting the battery.

Overall my consumption remains at 3.3mi/kWh which provides 259 miles way more than guessometre.
