I cannot confirm that. It seems likely, given the shared platform, but I don’t know - I just know that the Porsche dealer wanted a Porsche part number. The part numbers are obviously identical save for the prefix.

I think the photo I tried to attach yesterday was too big so it failed.
Here now, is a picture of the (factory fitted) part after it fell out of my Taycan.
You can see it says VW AG Germany before the part number; it is not Porsche specific.
