Speed Blue Stitching

I'm considering specing the Speed Blue stitching on my Neptune GTS but worried the blue is much brighter and won't match. Has anyone else gone for this? A part of me says the fact it is brighter is a good thing so it stands out against the black RaceTex but will it look so bright that it doesn't match. Also it's crazy expensive.

I Have the blue contrast stitching in my shark Blue 992 GT3 along with the blue seat belts, it looks really good.

My understanding though is Speed Blue is the same as Shark Blue whereas Neptune is darker.

My name is also Kevin and I also opted for the Speed Blue stitching on my Taycan, but it didn't make it on the final build for whatever reason. I was never given an explanation and it's the only option that didn't make it from my original order. I'm still waiting for delivery to see if anything else was dropped, but it's all unchanged in the TYD options list so far, my car has a VIN and was built months ago.

TLDR; Do it! It'll look awesome with any of the blue exterior colors available.

Why not take an accent from the exterior and match that to the stitching?

Calipers Guards Red? Have that as your interior stitching colour.

I thought that but the red is more common. I do like the idea of Blue. Just having a problem justifying the cost though.

Go CR GTS exclusive interior then. Sporty and at least has some coordination with the exterior accents.

It seems excessive forking out thousands of euros for some thread that costs Porsche 10 euros.

I agree. Thinking of going completly different and go for Boardeaux red Leather or stick with the standard Race Tex

I am ordering the Speed Blue stitching on black leather on my Neptune CT4 as well. My SA said the Speed Blue is brighter, but gives it the pop it needs against the black. He assured me it will look good with Neptune. I asked to see a sample at the dealership, but all the new interior samples went down with the Felicity Ace!

This is what I've found. It is brighter but if it's stitching only I think it will look great. However I have GTS interior with the GTS logo so decided this would look too bright so I'm skipping on this. My freeze date is next week so concerned it will put production start back also.

I think yours will look spot on though.

I happened to stop by the dealership today and they had a Taycan on the lot with speed blue stitching and seat centers. I snapped a photo through the closed window, so not the best quality but maybe useful to see.

Looks good thanks. I still think they should offer Neptue leather and stitching for such a premium car.
