Taycan 2 Year Service

Has anyone in the LA Area done the 2 year service recently. I was quoted $1100 at one dealership and $1300 at another. I've seen some comments on this forum that people have gotten it less expensive. Third party shop suggestions are also welcome.

Check what's on the list they suggest. Here in the PNW they throw on a bunch of stuff you don't need (disinfecting the interior or something like that ?!). They are bent on maintaining their revenue/margins even in the face of EVs not needing much.
The only 2 items I recall being meaningful were cabin air filter replacement and brake fluid flush. Unclear whether the second one really needs to happen after 2 years, or whether they are just being more aggressive than needed, again, to pad their wallets.

I've decided to ignore everything but the brake fluid and cabin filter for now.

Just had my 2021 4S serviced. €515 euro. Brake fluid, air filters, cooling system check up , battery health check, tyres checked brake wear checked, and full valet. Excellent value for its first service at Porsche Dublin Ireland.

Never have I been fed so much nonsense and BS. Best I got was £470 with a 3 hr drive but I managed to get local dealer down from £840 to £650 after 2 weeks. Some say it is time to read the modules for error codes or its unscrewing wheel arch liners to check drains etc - depends on the mood. It feels like a lot of BS but DO tell them if you have no pano roof and if you ever get a battery issue you may be stronger if the dealer making the claim has noted drains checked...

Seems a correct quote conform Porsche perscription. In europe (at NL Porsche dealer) on top of the basic service (€700) cost Brake fluid (€ 250) and Airco refilled (€250) is € 1200.

Did they not offer the drain checks on the Opening Sun Roof??? Shame on them! That is an absolutely essential item to check. If not checked it can invalidate the cars warranty!

I recommend you replace your own wiper blades and cabin filter and let the dealer do the brake flush. This will significantly reduce the cost. I paid about $200 for the wiper blades and cabin filter and about $300 for a brake flush at a Porsche dealer.

PSA for everyone - cheapest in the LA area I found was in Santa Monica ($960 before tax) and Rusnak ($934). Everything else was at least $200 more. It's still way overpriced but better than everyone else.

Is it required to get this service from Porsche to preserve warranty, or can you go to a Non-dealer Porsche shop? I presume brake fluid flush requires PIWIS to flush out the ABS or is there a laptop/phone solution on the market for the owner to do this themselves?

I only Paid $700 for mine which is insane but they did a nice test drive. 2 miles of it. They also checked but did not replace the windshield blades and they are good for another 2 years.

I think the only valuable item is the car wash and cleaning inside. I forgot to mention the cabin filter.
