I am all set to order 4S 2025 but I need a bit of help and guidance on points below;

1) the car will have periods of no use/parked for about 2 months at regular intervals due to nature of my work. What are the precautions and preparation I must take into account before leaving it parked? It will be indoor parking. Of course I would like no damage to battery, tyres etc
2) I am leaning towards Neptune blue exterior but more confused on interior. I like bordaeux red but my wife thinks it is not easy on the eyes or comfortable in case of long drives (3-4 hours, there won’t be drives any longer). Any one who have experience with similar colour choices in any of Porsche cars can share feedback. That will be great
3) 20 vs 21 inch wheels. The place we live in has 4 seasons spread across almost equally. I will opt if all seasons tyres but does wheels size also had implication on that? Apart from aesthetics of 21 inch, will I lose something else if opt for 20 inch Taycan turbo aero from practical standpoint? I read somewhere 20 inch is more comfortable ride vs higher performance of 21.
4) as for other options, I am thinking of panoramic roof (fixed), HUD and maybe racetex steering not sure though. Is there anything I should at least check out and consider before a final decision? Let’s say from practical angle rather than personal preference and aesthetics.
Will greatly appreciate the comments
Cheers

For a 4s you'll probably be recommended to get the sport chrono package and potentially Rear axle steer.

20's vs 21's not much difference in ride quality I believe, although the 20's will ride smoother. Negligible difference in range in reality. The porsche website shows range implications for each build you go through.

Pan roof used to be very popular, less so now given there have been issues with them cracking on the CT (i believe) and make the cabin either really hot or really cold. They also allow more noise in.

Full leather will also be recommended as its more befitting of a car at this price point, but the standard interior is certainly not horrible.

Just some things off the top of my head.

Thanks for the feedback. For sake of clarity, when you say full leather interior are you referring to something beyond the two tone leather interior as option? Sports chrono package is actually standard in 4S 2025 (Korea).
As for the sunroof, will definitely keep in mind and do more research on it. With HUD as option, I understand sound proof glass is used in parts of the car which is also insulated. But I really don’t have much insight on the overall impact of panoramic sunroof and if Porsche has improved the quality in anyways in newer models.
Blue with red inside is classy- well I would say that wouldn’t I. Get some colour in your life, black is so dull.

Looks elegant, I was thinking more on the lines of beige if not red, black is definitely boring and dull :)

By full leather, i mean extended smooth leather. It adds stitched leather to the dashboard, door cards and other areas etc makes a nice difference.

I pick up my RWD on Monday, but mine has the pepita and racetex interior. I did not select this option, but I got a very good deal on a car the dealer had in stock.

Mine also has the HUD. The configurator does suggest you need insulated glass, but when I selected windscreen grey tint it allowed me to select the HUD. That might be worth clarification.

20" will provide a better ride and more range.

Performance Battery Plus
Pano roof (too dark otherwise and is noise insulated)
Full leather
Bose
360 panoramic parking
Power Steering Plus
Leather heated steering wheel
Rear Axle Steering is nice as is Porsche Torque Vectoring
Sports Chrono

Owner's manual provides storage guidance, just follow that. Don't leave fully charged (50% or thereabouts)

Thanks. Will give owner’s manual a read, I expect this is available online regardless of purchase status.
Bose/power steering/sports chrono/performance battery plus are all standard in 4S 2025. Including heated steering and wheel. I will dig more on PTV and rear axel steering and see if one of them makes a good sense for my driving needs. I don’t expect to take the car on track but hey of course there is every chance of me testing its performance whenever I have the chance. Rear steering apparently helps even in urban driving environment so could definitely be a plus.
even 360 panoramic view parking is included in 4S at least the one I found on Korean website configuration application

Good stuff. What colour combination you went with? Will look up how the interior combination looks, will have a likely visit to Porsche showroom next week to see various trims and options in person. Funny I have not yet go through them thoroughly but fell in love with the car and registered for an order ?

I would like to see if you could share a build code or recreate your build on a US configurator for us to review and provide option feedback.

Here is the code for one I made in Porsche Korea PSLENIG7
While similar configuration on US website
PSLDLWX7 here
This is based on my interpretation of options, I must admit some of them are standard in one but not the other. One thing I didn’t understand why 4S 0-60 in usd is being marketed as 3.5 s while in Korea 3.7s with higher HP even? ?

The discrepancy is in the measurement units used: 3.5 sec is stated as 0-60 mph (~96 km/h), and 3.7 sec is for 0-100 km/h in metric.

I originally intended ordering bordeaux/black with gentian blue, which I think go great. But then I saw Frozen Blue in real life and that was the one for me. With bordeaux, It's a retro high-contrast 1950's combo that always excites me. My wife is one of the few other people who love the combo, but when buying an extravagant and exciting car I couldn't bear to make it look generic.

Bordeaux/black is an uplifting interior combo regardless of body colour, but not to the point of distraction, as when you're in the car you mostly see black. That said, I'm not sure it suits Neptune, which to my eyes has a hint of green tinge that adds a contrast too many to the blue and red. <EDIT- Blackberry (purplish) might be a better match with Neptune, though is a monotone rather than a two-tone.>

If you see examples of pre-refresh red interiors, keep in mind that they have more red elements on the front and rear seats than do the refresh models. Personally, I'd add red belts in either case.

I have Neptune Blue with standard gray interior. I love the combination and get lots of compliments. Then I added Mission E 21" wheels. Hope this photo helps:

Codes really help.

I think what you have configured is spot on with a couple of questions:

I assume InnoDrive with ALK is not supported in your country as this is the most commonly missed option since ALK only comes with InnoDrive and cannot be added after delivery, at least not at this time.

I wonder if you considered RAS and PTV+.

If you are considering any other options, then please call them out for us to advise further.

Got the feedback, Korea doesn’t offer InnoDrive perhaps due to access to local GPS regulations. I am thinking to get rear axel feature which is cheaper in US vs Korea while PTV+ is cheaper in Korea than US. Just a funny fact, don’t know the background.
