That's good to hear. A long lasting battery is important for me since i do more than 20k miles per year. Thanks for all the information :) Hmm so the least expensive AWD one will be the 4S huh? lets hope the pricing for he 4S still stays between a cayenne and a panamera !
Yes, 4S is the least expensive AWD model of the Taycan.
Still expect this one to start low 6 figures..

Details about the pricing were already revealed in different newspaper articles.

Base model starting at ~90.000 €. Smaller 80 kWh battery pack. 240 - 280 kW RWD.

4S = more than 100.000€. 320 - 360 kW AWD.

Turbo ~150.000€. 160 kW (front) + 300 kW (back). 96 kWh battery pack.

Turbo S = ?

I thought the Taycan model line director, Robert Meier, said that the target base price for the Taycan was between the Cayenne and the Panamera. In the US, with current pricing the base Taycan would fall between $66K and $86K USD. So either the price has increased quite a bit or Dr. Meier meant the base Taycan would fall between the price of a loaded Cayenne and Panamera... :-(

It’s called misdirection and price creep d/t unanticipated costs of an out of the box EV, which I understand as a matter of economics even if it is poor PR

I'd be surprised given the way Porsche is run, especially so on your misdirection comment. If you said this about Tesla and how they develop their vehicles, I'd agree wholeheartedly, although TBH I have much more knowledge on Porsche's inner workings than I do Tesla...

The facts are Taycan is now priced @911 levels. They’ve blown right past their earlier price quotes. Having said that I’m sure it will be class leading. I’ve owned 9 Porsche’s and believe they are the best manufacturer. I’m just pointing out the facts

I ll be deciding between taycan 4s and 2019 Model S long range (raven refresh) the tesla just costs 89K € new. In 5 years time it ll cost like 35k used i suppose. (you can also find used 2014 panameras for 35-40k) If the price difference is more than 10k i guess i ll be going for the model S. Except if tesla still hasn't created a service center in my country by then :CWL:

Pag J1, do you mind doing again a "Paint Brush Shop" on the headlight photo i´m posting here? You said that (on the headlight design sketch) there would an area where it would be "dark Grey/black Colour" It´s so that we can see better what area is"

Regards.

Another thing?

Did you happen to see the "estate" version of the Taycan?

If so, how does it look? Cross Turismo or Sport Turismo?

Does it look good?

Kind Regards.

You can see it already on this photo. It's the part on the left without the fake panamera light sticker + the thin line directly under the light.

I don't know what you mean by 'estate' but I saw the finished production car of the Taycan sedan not the Cross Turismo.
Check my other posts about the look of the car.

Kind regards

Great picture btw...
You can also see the parking sensor under the wrap.
I hope they don't add another light on the bumper like the decal in this pic...

The light itself will be the same like you see it on this Picture. Just without the glass Panel in front of it.
