Taycan Rust Spots Behind Rear Wheels

Car was delivered this week and there are rust spots behind the rear wheels. Dealer says this is normal and several cars at the dealership are the same. The car was a pre registered car which was delivered with 22 miles only on it. Is this the norm?

Mine too, thought when ordering the PSCB there wouldn't be rust anywhere.

Could be iron rust from the mating surface with the wheel, and not coming through the painted part of the hat, in that case CarPro Iron X is your friend.

This normal for steel rotors….depending on weather conditions, it varies as to when this surface condition becomes noticeable.

Are these standard brakes or PSCB (surface coated), if the former then normal.

What model year - some of rhe bargain new stock cars MY23 / 24 will have been sitting around for months in some cases.

PSCB brakes. Car was registered in Nov 23 so has been sitting a while.

Yep, thats what I reckoned but as another forum member has identified you should be able to remove the rust spots.

mine has rust all the way around - cleaned it off once but didn't take long to reappear

Every car I have had in recent years suffers with this.
I think it's just standard - especially in wetter climate (UK).
