I'm dubious - in North America something like would require an automatic cut off switch be installed to isolate the home from the power grid while on battery power (pushing the cost beyond 7k) when you include reworking one's residential power system - and you need bi-directional support from the vehicle manufacture

it's a great plan/idea and I love it - but logistically it's not quite as simple as plopping an EV charger in your garage and having it all just work.

I was looking for any installation instructions but they have not published any. But I like the idea too and I hope one day it becomes cheaper. I guess it is a good alternative to Tesla's Powerwall

I was watching this the other day on YouTube. There are some other exciting future products coming such as a 7.6kW solar inverter with bi-directional charging (dual charger) starting at $1500USD
