still unsolved, though they changed ECU and motors and stuff. only happens in the sun.lucky guy,
my trunk has an unsolved issue where the electric opening and closing is not working at all, when the car is parking in the sun. Then it's 100% reproducible, but vanishes when cooling down in the shadow.
The sun isn't alway shining in germany and also not in Porsche workshops. Still unfixed after some attempts. ECU leaves no error coded....
Should be proximity sensor, not pressure sensor. My golf bag must go in perfectly, otherwise no luck closing it without pushing it...Does anyone know how the functionality works, that keeps the trunk from closing when it’s too full? Because it seems to work horribly. With grocery bags in the trunk, it will never close, even if it could easily close down on top of them. And even with my golf bag...
Not a problem here. Is it sunlight or heat related? Tricky sensor/electrical problem...still unsolved, though they changed ECU and motors and stuff. only happens in the sun.
nobody else had this issue?!
Maybe it's the connection module of the foot sensor that is faulty when hot, or even the two strips which are attached on the bottom plate.hard to differ. I'd say it's surface heat of sunlight. vulcano gray get's hot quite fast. (30min sunlight is enough)
It's the diffuser plate yes.I do not have comfort access, so I don't know if this is built in. Is it difficult to check?
that part shown is the diffusor / bottom of the trunk?
You can close it from inside the car on the lower central screen. Just hold it down while it closes. This is weird...
When entering the car, the "Taycan Squeeze" managed to hit the trunk release button on the key. Cursing quietly, I got out to close it and pressed the close button. It only moved about 1/3 of the way and stopped. I did it again, same thing. It took several presses until it finally closed.
When I got back home I tried again and it seemed to happen normally.
This is not the first time I've seen this behavior; it happened one other time to my wife.
Anyone else ever see this and have any suggestions? Nothing was obstructing the trunk's path that I could see.
my car (every car without comfort access) is missing it. Also the closing button in the lid is only 1 switch not 2.Every Taycan has this if I'm not mistaken, same as the hood.
You can check if you have it under settings -> car -> vehicle locking system.
Ok, then it's one cause less.my car (every car without comfort access) is missing it. Also the closing button in the lid is only 1 switch not 2.
I should mention that I solved the problem a week ago:lucky guy,

Did you try 'lock and load' routine to see if the problem persists?I never had problems with closing/opening trunk…till today.
I opened it (by foot), it was open for about 10 minutes…when I pressed the close button…nothing.
then I tried close&lock button….nothing.
I closed it manualy….then tried to open, and it opened again.
but close buttons doesn’t work anymore.
any ideas?
