Hi All,
I have ordered my 4S via a work scheme and as I’ve posted elsewhere, the ETA is December 2023.

is there anyone else that has ordered in the last month Or so, that have better ETA’s?

Intrigued to know if it is Porsche or the supplier of the scheme being put at the bottom of the list

I was advised the dealership nearest to me wasn’t even accepting CT orders. Same for the next nearest.

Thanks

That sounds nonsense re CT orders.

I ordered 4S CT on June 9th 2022, got a build allocation on 2nd July with expected production start of 1st November and delivery to PRG Reading 28th November 22. Of course those dates will probably change.

That seems ridiculously quick, unless you happened to step straight into a cancelled order just before point of configuration lock. I placed my deposit on 8th Aug 21 when it was ‘just COVID and semiconductor chips’ causing delays and my car is yet to be delivered. Believed to be built and in a compound awaiting a 12V battery (but not confirmed). Even when I paid my deposit they were saying 6-9 months for delivery.
Lucky chap?

Check with your dealer. You will find you lucked out and very likely got a cancelled order or a build slot for a demo they no longer wanted - and the dealer liked you, so gave it to you.

Currently, the typical wait time for most new orders direct is 12-15 months. For leases, 18-24 months. Latter extremes for any GTS ST orders.

Yep, When I did the test drive they told me Q4 23, but SA thought it would be much quicker as only 11 in front of me waiting for an allocation. Then about 2 weeks later he emailed to ask if I would be interested in a build date this year if one came available. Next I heard was the "Thank you for your order....." email so phoned SA who explained they got got a big batch of allocations, (they had got wind of it earlier hence the email) at the end of June so admin had worked down the list and I just made the cut. Apparently a few of the 11 in front of me couldn't take an earlier delivery as locked into existing pcp contracts. PRG take 25% of all UK allocations so glad I ordered from them.
