Under door lighting in Porsche vehicles

Do the door mirror puddle lights work if the mirrors are folded? They don't on my Macan.

The puddle lights with the logo are actually on the bottom of the inside of the door. The standard light is there as well. You can see it at the bottom of the door: It is at the bottom of the red light reflector at the bottom of each door.

I know that but there are lights in the door mirrors as standard - these are puddle lights - long been on Porsche vehicles before they introduced projectors in the underside of the doors.

Not sure but the mirrors unfold upon unlocking and therefore light up.
