Anyone else order their car wanting summer tires and get all seasons instead? Should I make the dealer swap them before I take delivery? I’m still waiting on the sun sensor so have time before I pick it up anyway. Thoughts?

Depends on weather In your area.
My $0.02: if you‘ll ever need winter tires, then don’t use all season.

I had already planned on purchasing winter tires. So no need for these.

did Porsche make a mistake?
Taycan standard option is summer tires. All seasons are a no cost option. I didn’t choose that option and it’s not on my build sheet. So in my opinion yes it’s a mistake.

Sounds like a mistake to me. All seasons are on my build sheet, so if it’s not there, it shouldn’t be on your car. I would ask for them to be swapped. Shouldn’t be a big deal.

Thx for this reminder as I went ahead and re-confirmed this for my build too - in the excitement of building your car actual tire choices may not be front and foremost but obviously up there!

And presumably the same tire choice (i.e. summer) applied to the upgraded 21" wheels albeit not specifically stated.

This was certainly untrue when I ordered my car. I complained at order, but the Turbo came with no-season tires, and the Turbo S had summers. Even when upgrading wheels, there was no option.
