Sort of a weird question I'm wondering if anyone has experience with.
I have a job opportunity that would have me moving abroad(not sure where), and one of the perks of the job is that they will ship any car for me overseas and handle the local registration issues. I'm wondering if I did this, if any warranty that was given to me in the US would still apply when in the foreign country. On the Porsche USA warranty page, it says "Warranty can be claimed from any Porsche partner across the world", but I also know typically warranties outside the US are 2 years, unlimited miles, and not the 4 years/50k miles we have in the States. To complicate things more, the vehicle in question is a CPO that still has 2 years 2 months on the original warranty (and about 40k miles), before the 2 year unlimited mile CPO would kick in.
A lot of factors in play before I make a decision (like if the country in question even has a Porsche dealer), but I want to get ahead of the curve if and when I need to make the decision.
