What is that rear fender flare protector made out of?

Just curious: at the bottom of the Taycan rear flares there is a paint protector, but it seems much thicker than PPF. Is it clear? Is it replaceable? What is it made out of? Some 911s have a "rear fender stone guard" in this area.

My ppf installer removed mine before installing ppf. Doesn't answer your question of what the material is but yes, it can be replaced.
