Won’t Shift Out Of First Gear?

I think I’ve got a gremlin in my car…

Latest is that my car will not shift out of first gear in sport mode. It’s has always shifted at 49 mph. Today I noticed a whine from the rear at 58 and realized it was holding first gear. Did some checks back and forth to normal mode and sure enough, it will no longer shift to second gear in sport mode. Anyone have this problem?

Between this and the window regulator it does sound like you need a service appt..
