The single hand sports chrono clock or the Porsche Design 2 handed clock which shows time?

Interesting. I'd really like to have the compass option in the saloon variant but alas its not possible. I think it would be much more fitting with my road-trips rather than the racing track "sports chrono" most will never take their Taycan to.

Interested in why you made this change ?

Have you looked into just swapping it? There is just power and a LIN bus going to it, chances are a compass from CT would fit and just work in the same spot.

It would be the basic one, my budget is totally maxed out now. With further thought on this though I think I will end up back with the Compass

How exciting! I got a call from the dealer this morning to tell me we've got a build slot... so I went over this afternoon confirmed spec and we're now locked in. He showed me on their system production is for the first week of Feb.

Tiny tiny downside is... No Bose! so the base stereo it is.

He just said it’s not available for H1 builds, neither is the Burmester. I imagine it’s left on the configurator for customers about to enter the waiting list… and will be back available when their car is ready to be built in 9 - 12 months time.

Feels real now!... this morning i've an email from the factory confirming order. Logged into MyPorsche and there it is.

Time to book in at the PEC.

A little update, following on from some of the recent posts in the ‘UK order status and delays?’ thread and the topic of Bose… I contacted my SA today and he has said yes it’s now showing as available and has added it to my order and sent over confirmation. He also told me production is scheduled for late Jan and delivery to the dealer in Feb… fingers crossed ??

Today i've entered phase 3 in the myporsche app... not entirely sure what this means as I already know it's scheduled for production end of Jan. Does it mean my spec is locked in and everything is available? No idea... I guess I sit tight and wait to hear from the dealer.

In the US phase 3 says that the car has been produced. What does it say for you?

Very basic updates here in the UK… the next update after this is to say the vehicle is built.

I see. It's even more basic in the USA, only 4 phases total. However, we do have TYD here which has a lot more milestones. They don't always agree though, for example my car has been in phase 2 "scheduled for production" since I got the allocation, even though "scheduled for production" milestone of TYD was the 3rd milestone which didn't hit till recently (the phases before then are "order placed" and "freeze point reached").

Spoke to the SA yesterday and he has confirmed we’ve passed the freeze date and now at V210 status. Delivery date to the dealer showing as 24th Feb.

I asked at what point I would find out whether the Bose will be in the build, he said it would be flashing up now if not available. If I’m honest I wasn’t convinced but we shall see.
