Vehicle in Production but App not updated. Delivery forecast? How close to the date on the system?

So I've had this issue with the MyPorsche App since November showing the wrong pîcture of my configuration. I reported it and no progress from Porsche. I even spoke to one of the Smart Mobility team. There is an open case but no update on it.

Today I get informed by my SA THAT my car is at V260 Vehicule en Production and the forecast delivery date is brought forward to 24th Feb. Wow next Friday. The App is still stuck at Stage 2 and so is my account online. I've called Porsche CS again and no progress. So poor. Of course this means I won't see the production photos which is very annoying.. Again they say they will get back to me but they won't.

Question - Is the forecast delivery date believable? Is this the date at the dealers or date it leaves the Porsche factory?

I was stuck on stage 3 (build) for months and my vehicle is now in the showroom. After opening a support case through the app it jumped to stage 5. The production photos are of varied vehicles with different specs so looks like I missed out on the true journey also. Not great but happy the car is now in the UK and being registered.

My dealership was very accurate on delivery and got the month correct from time of deposit.

Very annoying though. This should not happen. They design all this software in the car and can't deliver a basic App.

I've had my case since November 2022

The dealer will contact you on delivery dates.

The app told me that my car had been built only. Still reporting stage 4 but the car is now physically at the dealership today.

Don't get too excited as I've just been told that my pick up on Friday is cancelled due to the dreaded heater issue.

C'est la vie c'est la guerre!

The dealer seems to have no idea on delivery date. If only.

I hop my car does have the heater issue. That way it delays delivery as I still have no charge point. And also getting the revised heater is a good thing.

They will know when the car is en route to them and at which point they'll contact you.

I hope so but I'm not holding my breath.

What I really would like to resolve is the My Porsche App. I was looking forward to seeing the prod photos.

It is no better or no worse than any other VW brand....you get used to it and still come back for more.
I have 3 VW at the moment but first time ordering new. The whole Porsche ordering process is shockingly poor. If the car wasn't so good I would have cancelled my order a long time ago.

My car has been built a week and still showing stage 3… my dealer said they get a 2 day notification for when it’s actually on route to them.

I don’t get why they have this staging on the app if it’s not real time.

The whole App tracking is useless. It would be better to have nothing. Mine has been in production for at least a week and still stuck at Stage 2 with the wrong picture of the car. Appalling.

Tell you something, if you think the experience with Porsche is low value you should try buying a Tesla!
