So within about a mile radius in NJ near Philadelphia are three major stations:
- EA with an unusually large eight chargers, but as is typical with EA, a driver reported today that three chargers were broken leading to some sort of 90-minute ordeal.
- Magic Dock with 12 chargers.
- Newly opened Magic Dock with 40 chargers.

I’m not a big fan of Tesla cars but Tesla is so far ahead of EA and everyone else relative to charging services that I wouldn’t be surprised if Elon has a plan for charging stations on the moon before EA, Charge-point, etc combined, come close to Tesla’s install base of chargers on earth…

Baker station is fine, but barstow at walmart drives me crazy.. Long wait all the time.. Same thing happened in Vegas.. Those EA stations at shopping centers are packed..
I always had good experience at Barstow with + 200kw.

Guess I didn't have good luck.. I have to travel from vegas to la weekly, have to get it charged on weekend and barstow is always packed...

I always plan my trip to LA off traffic. That help.

Could be something like $X/min for the first half-hour block, then increasing to $Y/min for the next half-hour block, and finally $Z/min after that. (Plus the usual per-kWh charge.)
There are multiple pricing schemes. For example, you could charge per minute of the charger capacity (actual deliverable capacity). That would even encourage people who plan to charge slower to use slower chargers, or maybe even switch in the middle. However, sales of electricity are highly regulated (another government granted monopoly) so it gets complicated really fast what pricing you can use in which part of the country, or world. For example, there are places where only official utilities can sell electricity (by the KWh).

Can Taycans be charged at the NA Tesla super chargers now? I see some contradicting information.

nothing contradictory - still 2025 - you've referenced the _ONLY_ official press release from 2023 - anyone can charge _ANY_ CCS1 vehicle at MagicDock equipped Superchargers - which are a subset of all superchargers. Nothing to see here yet - so the answer to your question is mostly "no" - unless it's a MagicDock enabled/equipped site.
