I know access to reliable high speed chargers is always a hot topic on this forum, but I have yet to see anyone post that the 4 most recently opened Rivian locations are now open to non-Rivian CCS enabled vehicles. The Rivian locations in Del Norte, CO, Joshua Tree, CA, Lansing, MI, and Queensbury, NY are now open and accessible to charge via the Rivian app.

I am not sure if all future new charging locations will have this capability, or if they will be retrofitting the legacy locations, but this is progress.

How it looks on the Rivian app:

I hope they expand more but it looks like it's mainly places of "adventure" so far. I do however like the image they used on their website.

Wow was not even aware of a slow rollout with no fanfare. Their units appears to be 800v ahem Tesla, you taking notes?

Considering VW group threw a ton of money at Rivian, I would think a opening up on Rivian to at least VW is mandatory.

That Taycan is uncomfortably straddling the concrete stop. They not like us...

bump, is there any rumors about Rivian further opening up this network? In their app, it's not clear which stations are open to non-Rivian cars and not all stations are marked on their map, for example there is a station at 12047 Donner Pass Rd, Truckee CA but it does not appear on the map in their app. Also not clear is what is an "Adventure Network" location? Rivian also have Waypoints and based on their website appears to be L2 destination type chargers.

Haven’t heard myself and yeah, I’m seeing in the app too that it doesn’t show it for me where I can charge.

Yeah I was trying to figure this out while on a road trip. All their support docs say to use their app but I didn’t find that any clearer as to which ones would work.

Good to know they’re 800V though when I do find one.

It appears Rivian added a few more Adventure Network locations to allow non-Rivians to charge. Don't get your hopes up, they seem to be at destination locations and not highway stops.

In California the Yosemite outpost was added.

Looks like at least several existing stations have now been retrofitted or somehow modified to provide for universal access!
Along the I-91 corridor: West Hartford CT (off of I-84, but might be a new location, not a retrofit?), Holyoke MA, Brattleboro VT, and West Lebanon NH (off of I-89).
The CT and MA locations aren't all that important, since plenty of other options by now.
But the VT and NH locations are key for skier and other tourist traffic to those states from further south.
PlugShare does not have reliable classifications for these stations, as some that are open to all vehicles (with recent checkin confirmation) will appear only if you filter in restricted locations.
So look at this map:
https://rivian.com/experience/charging#map
... for the stations with three green symbols on the black background (or just click on the first filter).
This is all within the two or three weeks judging by the PS checkins.
Unfortunately the 200kW speed seems to be available to only 400v cars, based on an E-GMP checkin (whose owner seemed knowledgeable of that).
So we're stuck in the 130s, or ~50kW if you have a pre-2025 Taycan w/o the 150kW/400v option.

Good investigative research. So it may have settled on whether Rivian is running 400v hardware despite having 1000v capable units.

Rivian has a fairly new site in Freeport Me. near ll Bean store and my son just charged his new Chevy Equinox there and everything went smoothly so that should be another good spot for us. Taycan owners.

Rivian recently opened significantly more RAN chargers in California. There are now 12. They are in more remote areas (US-395) and some on key corridors I-5, I-80.

I poked around the rest of the country and it looks like there is a good 20% more than earlier in the summer.
