I always thought that essentially was what PRIM is. PRIM is standard on Irish (maybe UK too?) base specs. What is it doing additionally?
Std in UK. It tweaks various things depending on drive mode. For example, when in Range mode I think it will alter AC settings (further than the default), dim the headlights etc as the battery gets to low levels.

IIRC there is also a 3-dot menu option to configure the allowed minimum SOC at your arrival. Set that low enough and it should skip a charge along the route if doing so would allow you to make it home with your now lowered minimum SOC.

I saw this yesterday and put it to its
lowest setting (3%) but it still made me stop at 10% while there where other chargers in the coming 20 miles or so. I think I will settle for turning the charging stops off and thinking a bit for myself. Maybe this is a useful aid in countries with a low volume of high power chargers.

on the tesla nav system it will offer charging stops like the PIRM but it is easy to tell the system to skip that stop. Porsche should really take a closer look and try to emulate some of the tesla systems that are superior to what porsche has delivered.
Maybe they have tried but failed to see what could be copied?

I have no clue..... My 2020 Taycan does not have it, but when using the Navigation it kept bugging me to go to some obscure charger. I finally found the Navigation submenu to disable it (it comes as default on). As with all other Taycan menus, it is somewhere deep; look for the 3 dots to the right of the screen.
