Did you order it with the chrome window trim? I thought the 2021's were a matte black and had the option to be gloss black. I hope mine has the matte black (I had tried to change to the gloss black, but the lock happened too fast).

All Taycan 4S cars have the chrome trim, you have to option the gloss black otherwise for 400 USD. The Base Taycan has a matte black trim and the Turbo models have gloss black trim as standard.

My 4S is white (almost got Green), I barely got the gloss black upgrade at the last minute in before lock. I upgrade my build from a base Taycan to a 4S build after two weeks of losing sleep over it. The chrome trim looks atrocious on gray/white specs IMO.

Thanks. I was fairly certain my car (base) had the matte black window trim. I am ok with matte black or glass black. I just did not want chrome.

I like the contrast of the chrome on the black and it’s standard on the 4S. The gloss black on black is ok but I didn’t want to pay extra for it.

I was just making sure I did not miss it on mine as I wanted the black. I did not know the 4s it was standard. I ordered a base and it has the matte black standard.

I still cannot register my account in the car and I am about to go to beyond livid at this point. Porsche is useless and they need to replace every one of their software engineers with people that know what they are doing.

I can register but the Apps will not function. I talked to Porsche Connect Tech Support who advised me to take the car to the dealer because Tech Support's attempts to connect to the vehicle failed. Nevertheless, I love driving my Taycan

To that last point, I completely agree. The car itself is fantastic. Everything I hoped for. I bought it completely on faith and in terms of driving it I was not disappointed. The thing that really blew my mind today is my wife said "it's really cool". I was like, who are you and what have you done with my wife!

But they (Porsche) really needs to up their software game big time. If they want to hire me, I'll fix it for them.

First post (and first Porsche). Ordered my Taycan 4S in May here in Canada. Production delays had it leave Emden last week and arrive in Halifax tomorrow afternoon. It has the following items missing, FYI:

• Retrofit telephone console
• Retrofitting control unit for acoustic simulator
