I've been driving my MY 25 from day one with the tire pressure recommended by the PCM for all season 20 inch tires. The recommendation was for 37 front, 32 rear.
Today my dealer set the tire pressure to 35 front, 38 rear. I thought it was an error but we checked the PCM recommendations and that was the new manufacturer's recommendation.
This strikes me as odd, has anyone experienced anything similar?

Check the manual there's matrix for multiple tire pressures for the car based on:

1. Load weight
2. Speed
3. Tire size
4. Tire type

Higher pressures help avoid the corners of the tyres wearing out when the rest of the tread is fine.

Mine are in the 40s now on dealer advice. (40/44 IIRC).

the sticker on the car is different than your list above, of course. the PCM "suggested" tire pressure is also different. plus the tires wear out too fast. next.

Sticker on car cannot be updated, so was correct at time of manufacturer, but may have been superseded by recommended pressures in TSB (usually higher).

Pressures in PCM are obviously updatable remotely, but importantly can also adjust for temperature if I recall correctly (and load with the toggle switch).

personally I keep the TPMS screen on and ensure I don’t go below max load pressures.

running 20" summer tires at 40 front/41 rear. Door sticker, tsb's, and inconsistent factory advice is likely part of the tire wear problem- no one knows how to properly inflate their tires.

I always follow the computer. I don't have any inner crown wear that you see posted about fairly often on this forum.
