I have a Wallbox and it works just fine. Also, it will tell you how many KW you consume and if you know what the utility is charging, you get the cost too.
I may be throwing some "fud" into this conversation, but it may be the interior key sensor sensing the key when it is outside the vehicle. I have had the same problem and found that with my key in my left front pocket, I turn my right side to the car. It had now become a habit and I don't have...
I think the problem is that the interior key sensor senses the key and unlocks the car because it thinks the key is inside the car. More recently, I positioned my body such that it is in-between the key and the car. My key is in my left pocket; so I face my ride side towards the door. The car...
I had the same problem. In the settings, I switched from MPH to KMH, made sure that setting took in the instrument cluster, then switched back to MPH. While counterintuitive, it worked and has stuck for several months.
My dealer installed the new part yesterday. He told me that the dealership received 7 motion sensors. I assume that was based on the number of Taycans they sold that were affected. I would guess that the part is readily available across the US.
I brought my CT4 for the DME software update. The dealer corrected the no-sound problem by pulling the fuse for the instrument panel. If it happens again, I now know what to do.
W1nge is correct. I know that you can set the sound for lane keeping assist and the parking sensors. If you have sound selected, but still get no sound, you may have a problem like I do. In fact, my turn signals do not "click" even though they work and I can see the visuals on the instrument...
Unfortunately on my CT4, the settings in the PCM are not sticky and will turn back on after the PCM wakes up. I have disciplined myself to check the PCM dialogue box in the shutdown warning screen before getting out of the car. By doing that I have avoid the false alarms.
Just to add to the mix ... when I use the drivers door with my finger, the car will lock and then immediately unlock. Now I use the back door and no problem.
I had the same problem with the speedometer in the left tube showing KM vice MPH. I went into Settings in the PCM (system) switched the units to KM and then back to miles. That fixed the problem.
If the software update is dependent on the the newest version of the hardware, there will be MY22 owners who will be out of luck, too. My MY22 has the older hardware - it was built in October 21.
Sorry for a late reply. My CT is a model year 2022 and was built in October 2021. It has the 9J1035 unit vice the newer PAD. I wonder when they switched over to the new PCM hardware.
