Hi guys I know this has been discussed on here many a time, but this morning went down to car and it was the dreaded 12v flat battery. Followed all the procedures as per users on here (point to note if not already mentioned the manual says to turn the emergency key anti-clockwise, this is wrong it’s clockwise to open the door) Again following all the advice on here got the car going again and fingers crossed should be ok. Thing to note though was the day before this happened Vodafone automotive rang to say the car had triggered an alert, I told them to deactivate this, but when I finally got power into the car the alert was still active as the app would not let me connect to the car saying “ Theft alert vehicle systems disabled” When I contacted Vodafone they said they had tried five times to disable the alert but they could not connect to the car. Perhaps this may have contributed to the 12v drain? Anyway thanks to all those on here already for your advice in previous threads, it really does show that these forums are important to get the knowledge out there.
